Stereo-typical?

What are you thinking when you look at someone that looks like you?  How about someone that doesn't?

  • There are stereotypes for every race.  Think of stereotypes for Middle Eastern people and African American people.  What are the first words that pop into your head when you hear the words "black American" or "the Middle East"

    This is what I picture when I think of a traditional Middle Eastern couple, how about you?



    Personally, it is easier to look at African American stereotypes.  I do believe that race and stereotypes will always be evident, at least in my lifetime.
    Middle Eastern people and African American people will always have to fight for positive opportunities.
    In addition, just look at the news and what is happening in the United States.  From Trayvon Martin to Michael Brown and the Ferguson trial; Two unarmed African American teenage boys murdered, and their killers, Caucasian POLICE OFFICERS doing no time at all.  This shows a lot about the world today, that assumptions of certain innocent people, particularly minorities, result in disheartening outcomes.
